Bangladesh- More words, less action

Before the start of the series, Bangladesh skipper expressed disappointment over India's team selection. With India, sending their junior team, Bangladesh skipper had many things to say. Firstly he said "I did not expect, India to take this series so lightly", and then he continued by saying "Remember, if we beat them, we will beat India and not India A". But with the things that have gone so far, Bangladesh, forget winning, but your team is losing against a string team. On the other hand, Suresh Raina had only said "we are not under any pressure, we will enjoy it" and he has enjoyed it.
After a loss in the first match, the Bangladeshi fans were delighted, but the happiness stayed only for one half of the match. What happened in the second half, was just extraordinary. Stuart Binny broke Anil Kumble's record, when he took 4-6.
Mushfiqur Rahim, the captain after doing everything right in the first half, giving the pace bowlers ample chances and folding the opposition team for 105, couldn't do the job while batting. He knew how was the wicket reacting and batsmen need to show patience early on. You would expect that from a player who has played 131 international matches.
Bangladesh, still remain winless in ODI's played in 2014 so far, with 9 loss on a trott which is far away from imagination, when they have been playing cricket from the past 30 years. They let the game away from them easily at many times. Against Srilanka, before the Asia cup, they had them shattering at 67-8 and allowed then to score 181, which is also chase able, and still lost the game. Against Afghanistan, they allowed easy flow of runs and allowed them to get to 254 after they were on 99-5. Only one thing that comes to my mind after reading this is "Once a minnow, always a minnow"
Who would believe, If I say that this is the team which almost won the Asia cup, 2012. But it's true. Bangladesh, 2 years before, they were looking to evolve as a cricketing nation but all of a sudden, it has been put into mud again. With less than a year remaining for the cricket world cup 2015, it's high time for Bangladesh to start their preparations right away. Rahim, listen to the world cup alarm bells soon and win a game for the fans which will also boost teams confidence.
