RCB vs MI, IPL 2014

A double header today also. The first match is between the giants RCB vs the poor looking MI.

RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore). Started with a win this season over the DD, this team is looking great, they did not play Gayle in the first match because he was injured during the practice match. But, today Gayle will come back. Not in the best of touches Gayle, but this is IPL. Their batting doesn't look to a problem at all. Even Parthiv Patel played a good hand, lived dangerously, but a good knock, by the pocket sized dynamite. Yuvraj Singh played brilliantly for his 52(29) and replied the critics with his bat. Kohli, the words in this world are less to describe a batsman like Kohli. In the next 10 years, when people will start talking about batting, only 3 names will come and that would be Don Bradman, Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli. He is a run machine. Nothing for them to get under pressure, play just like the last game and win it.
Its not like last season too for the RCB, where Gayle was their only man, the one man army. They have many match winners in their team now, and they are looking strong enough to be crowned as the IPL 7 champions. Bowling looks a concern. Ashok Dinda, the so called best death bowler gave away runs at ease, the batsman were hitting him at will. Mitchell Starc is unpredictable, not consistent, so the RCB have to work in their bowling dept. Allan Donald, RCB bowling coach will surely help the bowlers.
Player to watch out for- Ab de Villers.
Playing eleven-

1. C. Gayle
2. P. Patel (wk)
3. V. Kohli (c)
4. Y. Singh
5. Ab De Villiers
6. A. Morkel
7. S. Rana
8. M .Starc
9. V. Aaron
10. A. Dinda
11. S. Jakati

Now, The MI (Mumbai Indians). Poor to start, the MI have a lot of thinking to do. They did not do the best at the auctions too. M. Hussey was taken on my Morne Morkel's pace and bounce. The whole pressure of batting is with Rohit Sharma. The batting unit is good. Players like Aditya Tare and Ambati Rayudu can bat. But, they are not matured enough to understand the situation and bat. This is the job which Rohit Sharma along with coach Robin Singh should discuss. They released good players like Maxwell and Smith in auctions, and both players got a half century for their clubs yesterday. Maxwell almost got a century.
Pollard's absence in the WT20 has put some pressure on him too. Top bowler Malinga has to lead the bowling and he is under some pressure. So, the MI have had a blunder in selecting the right team in auctions. Haven't seen Corey Anderson bat beautiful after that 35 ball 100. The coach, the team management, the icon- SACHIN TENDULKAR, they have a tough job in hand. They have to make sure each player has some responsibility. With a strong looking batting line up, Malinga's job at the top and in the death is gonna be tough and bowling those toe crushers at the death is not easy. Harbhajan vs Gayle is going to be a good battle. Will be interesting to see how Gayle tackles the ball going out. For me ,Rohit Sharma should come to open with Aditya Tare and Michael Hussey at no.3 .They had CM Gautam in the side as a keeper, but I don't think so he is required by the team, Tare can keep the wickets and even Rayudu. The have retained Rayudu instead of Maxwell, Karthik, Johnson. Lets see how good that decision turns out to be. Rayudu is the player to watch out for.
Playing eleven-

1. A. Tare
2. R. Sharma (c)
3. M. Hussey
4. A. Rayudu (wk)
5. K. Pollard
6. C. Anderson
7. J. Bumrah
8. H. Singh
9. L. Malinga
10. Z. Khan
11. P. Ojha

Maybe, M. Hussey can sit down for one match and the dashing Ben Dunk be selected

Head to head-
Played 13 MI 8 RCB 5

I am backing the MI to register their first win today!
